meow meow itch should totally make a cnpj in brazil or any of the MERCOSUL countries that accept pix already... cuz it would be really nice to be able to pay with pix and not have to arrange my money to be mediate by an international entity, specially now that trump is actually using spies here in brazil

@passocacornio IMHO the EU should mandate wero and/or SEPA wire transfer as well as cash-by-mail as payment method.

@Netzblockierer I was thinking something here, between I made the toot and you responded, like, here we have another form of payment that would be quite handy to deal with all this payment methods bullshit. it is a form of invoice, that has a barcode in it you can pay directly from the banking app. I actually never understood why outside of brazil I don't see many places with some payment method close to this

@passocacornio There are several, abeit only national, payment processors that do that, like barzahlen.de in Germany [where one basically pays cash at a retailer; quasi the inverse of #PaySafeCard and a competitior to #Klarna] and in some places such services are the norm for payment as people are more cash-centric (i.e. Japan) and/or wire transfer is uncommon if nonexistant (i.e. Somalia, Indonesia)…
