#WIPWednesday Sloppy base coat. Because of the floppy feathers and because the yellow was left over acrylic that had already been mixed with fabric paint medium but I didn't want to waste it. the coverage on the papier mache isn't as good as hoped. Oh well, a few more coats yet.

It was a mistake not to prime this. It's a week to the con so I guess (not for the first time) I'm going with visible brush strokes as a design choice! Highlights next and glue earrings and elastic, then work out how to properly put in hair extensions. Rest all fits though, only one sew (Easy circle skirt) and one purchase this time, everything else already in the dressing up or crafts box! Sadly I have definitely not left time enough to build a greebly gadget! #Cosplay #SonicTheComic #90sKid

@kapellosaur I am pleased with the overall vibe. I toyed with buying new red shoes but the (fake) sketchers I already owned from a different cos matched the skirt colour so well I decided it made a nice imaginary alternate.
