This morning is a morning of system updates. Many security announcements arrived last night.

Here's the first one done:

@dvl
I have somewhat mixed feelings about all these AI generated vulnerability discoveries. I guess that in the long run we'll end up with more robust systems but the journey is much faster than I had been accustomed to. Not a bad thing, I just need to get used to applying fixes more quickly. Gone are the days of git pull followed by a series of git diff commands to review all the changes. In some ways it's almost like the end of open source for those of us who can't keep up with the pace of changes.
@michaelgalassi are you getting these discoveries to read? Or are you reading all the diffs? I leave the diff reading to those who know the product.
@michaelgalassi I don't view it with dread / anxiety. It's a change.
