Accidentally killed it by stepping over it . So sorry but it was totally accidental. I was working on the field and in a very small nest with grass on the field it was laying with 4 eggs 🥚 I brought the eggs with me in my home not sure what to do . Guy's please help me....

@anowarmolla contact your local wildlife rescue organisation, they will have expertise and you might be able to give them the eggs

And, for future - if you're new to photography(?), try to stick to trails. Walking into fields and off-trail/path in breeding seasons will inevitably disturb or harm nesting birds, so keeping a good distance and respecting their space is really important.

If there is no wildlife rescue or bird rescue near you, do you have access to a broody hen? If so, maybe she could keep them warm until they hatch. If not, you could try keeping them warm by wrapping them in soft cloth and setting them on a warm water bottle; eggs need to be turned a few times a day- I’d do at least 3 times a day. Refresh the water bottle with more warm water when it gets cold. Or you could perhaps try keeping the eggs close to your body with a sling or a bra, though not sure ..
