Please, please, please can the Peak District have some dry weather this weekend?
I'm really looking forward to getting my first taste of outdoor #bouldering next weekend, but if it's going to be wet we'll have to cancel.
It's been super unpredictable this last couple of weeks, and I'm not hoping for it to be sunny as well, but wet Gritstone is fragile Gritstone.
*crosses fingers, toes, eyes, and arms* please hold out, weather window!
Rockfax describes the conditions for the area we're visiting as:
"The boulders face all directions and are exposed to strong winds but they may be okay when the edges are too windy. They are very quick drying and seldom green. The slabby, rounded holds require cool conditions."
Will 19C be cool enough? Guess we'll find out!
