Driving my late wife's Irish relatives to my home from the airport, and we had to drive down these roads draped with England flags on every post. It's disgusting, and embarrassing, and a blight on the city. Fuck the racists. #bristol #flagShaggers

Driving round Ireland in the summer you'll see the county flags for the local GAA teams.

@nowster Everybody knows what the flags mean, and it has nothing to do with football. They've been up for months.

@[email protected] Some St George flag bunting appeared new this week on a house local to me. I don't think that one is related to Raise The Colours (and Lower The Tone). It's not that sort of area.

We've had two rounds of Union Flags erected on lampposts here since late August. The second lot are looking very ragged by now, if their zip ties haven't already snapped.
