For me, the signal importance of the interview is how it illustrates the impossibility of working with corrupt people. From Ellison to Weiss to Nick Bilton, the corruption at Paramount, CBS News, and now 60 Minutes is baked in.
Also striking, Pelley’s commitment to his colleagues who were treated shabbily. That is a sign of integrity. 2/2
