So, end of #vacation, we fly out of #Rome tomorrow from #Fiumicino, and are staying at a nearby VRBO the night before. After the #highspeedtrain from Milan to Turin (so nice) rather than taking a taxi all the way from the Termini stn, we'd take the airport train there, then catch one of the many taxis surely there to carry our group of 5, plus luggage, to the VRBO.
The train part worked great...

#Fiumicino is not designed around this idea, starting with having to track down where the #taxi lines are, fend off the "helpful" drivers happy to help, if we pay cash, to tracking down the *internal* line to the taxi area (which was inside the secure area for baggage claim, but we were told to ignore the sign, so we did), then wait in the very long taxi line..
.
But we got a taxi (that did not demand cash) ! Yay!
