This is a creek from Ross lake #britishcolumbia #beautifulbc love this spot. It's on the outskirts of town.
@alipunk Oh I'll take that river any day. So lovely.
@hyperreal one of the top three places in the area to go have your lunch and or smoke a joint
@alipunk Crazy to see it up there, it's really big on this end, 100-plus miles downstream. Caught one of the biggest Chinook salmon of my life in the Skagit, quite awhile ago and spent a lot of time along it.
@GPJohnston that's awesome. I might actually be confused and this is just a steam from it cuz i know it runs into Washington and this is a offshoot or something that dumps into the Fraser
@alipunk well, the upstream end of the Skagit is well up in BC, it flows into Ross Lake right at the border, drops down to Diablo Lake and then flows into the Skagit lowlands and to the Salish Sea.
@GPJohnston I think this must be a creek that comes out of ross lake upthe mountain and it actually empties into the Fraser I get confused and call it a river cuz it's along this road called silver skagit Rd
@GPJohnston but it's flowing the wrong direction as your skagit river so that was my first clue hehe
