Canada sold hydro to New York City for decades, made buck. And the demand now is VERY high, and growing even faster.

But. Last year Canada had to IMPORT electricity, because hydro comes from hydro dams, and climate heat isn't just burning country sized holes in 🇨🇦 forests, its also lowering water height, water height is electricity. Climate steals hydro.

So building solar is what Carney should do. On every roof. And more. Right now.

"hydro" is dams, bigbig dams driving electrical generators. Canada has so many, so much, the several Provincial energy utilities and power are often called "hydro" - Canadians pay their hydro bill every month-

But climate heat is lowering dam height, the total amount is tending down, cutting exports, as need increases.
