Is there anyone out there who actually buys meals at Dairy Queen?

Listen, I work for a fast food company, you can talk straight with me.

But like- if you’re gonna buy fast food. Dairy Queen?

Maybe it’s actually good? Maybe there are folks where it’s their closest option?? Legit curious.

@CodingItWrong recently, no. However, and especially when living in the mid Midwest: absolutely. Some towns DQ is the best day food you're going to get.

@retrofan64 @CodingItWrong True of Monticello, Illinois, home of Monticello International Airport (a grass field we flew gliders out of). I have fond memories of the Dairy Queen food there. The hamburgers were legit pretty good.

(This was ~40 years ago. I do not endorse the current DQ, but if I ever have a need to drive to Springfield, I commit to stopping by.)

@CodingItWrong Yep, every time I went to Dragon*Con. It wasn't bad; for a fast food burger, you could do worse. Haven't had it recently since there aren't any near me.
@dmd I think my problem is that the one time I ate it I tried steak fingers, and that was very different
