𝕮𝖍𝖊𝖗𝖙𝖔𝖌𝖗𝖆𝖉Being a dog person does NOT make it any more socially acceptable to vocally dislike cats compared to being a cat person who'd vocally dislike dogs.
Yet many people still think it's totally ok to call cats assholes and whatnot, but they take great offense if you say even the slightest negative opinion about dogs.
Of course not everyone is like that.
I, for one, don't hate any animals, yet I'm a cat person by heart, through and through.
Cats and dogs are equal.
