If you're a senior developer and you see this kind of behaviour, think of the consequences for the person on the receiving end, especially if they are junior, a new starter, or already lacking self-belief...

It’s not about shielding someone from their mistakes; it’s about providing feedback respectfully and allowing for the opportunity to learn from failure rather than fear it.
