Israeli intelligence, including Mossad and elite military units, carried out surveillance, drone activity, and intelligence-gathering missions near the Iranian border and in the wider region.
One cited operation involved activity linked to the killing of an Iranian Revolutionary Guard intelligence official, while drone strikes were also reported in Azerbaijan shortly afterward.
