@xyla so interesting, i knew that symantec endpoint protection and an mcafee corporate virusscanner, before it went to be trellix, was available for xp with signature updates, but avast still invested in xp was completely unexpected

makes sense, at that point they were updating them a couple of times a day and on top of that they had hourly microdefinitions (they called that “streaming updates” i believe)
i feel like you could easily go nuts after hearing AVAST! VIRUS DATABASE HAS BEEN UPDATED every darn hour

@wyatt windows xp doesn’t support efi boot
@wyatt some people have gotten post-reset longhorn bootloaders to provide efi boot for xp but it’s incredibly wonky
