Mark SquiresI'm not a big Viognier drinker, but this popped up and did well! This 2019 K Vintners Viognier from Charles Smith is fresh, and more elegant perhaps with a few years on it. It's certainly prime time. Impeccably balanced, this high-elevation Viognier is delicate in the best way, restrained but persistent, nothing out of place. The wood (15% new, 16 months) doesn't stick out. 14% alc., around $40.
