#Romania politics, and the public commentariat around it, is ever more puzzling.

The supposedly "responsible" parties further insist on not seeking compromise solutions to demonstrate how irresponsible was their former partner, even after the president proposes for PM a candidate that is politically close to them.

They still seem to prefer a nationalist alliance in government, apparently to prove a point?

For example, Hotnews editors also seem to prefer AUR in government, if I get their reasoning?

so much of the debate through these weeks seems to have been lost in supposedly "principled" positions missing the point of how parliamentary systems work both in theory and in practice
