@thomasfuchs I watched a video about the Thinking Machine line of super computers and if I remember correctly the year after they appeared in the backdrop of these scenes in Jurassic Park the company had folded.

I love the aesthetic of the array of blinking lights as the things computed though and I had half a mind to go off the deep end and putting LED arrays on my home servers.
