I continue to notice that I am getting more and more visitors through smaller search engines.
Now that Google is slowly withdrawing from this area: Could the next big thing simply be search engines for #SmallWeb and #indieweb?
@barning Quite possibly, as those are the remaining places not poisoned by AI slop.
@barning did the absolute number of visits from this smaller searches actually increased? Or did just the percentages of requests increase? I would have assumed, that due to AI answers the visitors from Google decreased which increases the share of others, because they kept the same but the absolute number of visits reduced.
@duco I have to look at this at a longer period. But I see, that Uberblogr from @gigold and @cloudhiker is increasing.
