Palantir is deeply embedded in the scariest activities of the Trump regime – enabling everything from mass deportations and lawless assassinations in international waters to ethnic cleansing, genocide, and war crimes.

CEO Alex Karp’s recent online manifesto is a truly disturbing, supremacist screed. One UK MP said it “sounds like the ramblings of a supervillain.”

The city of London, England recently canceled a contract with Palantir.

Why is Canada handing nearly $50 million in public money to this creepy company?

Doing business through a secretive contract with this MAGA-aligned tech giant is totally incompatible with the Prime Minister’s promise to defend Canadian sovereignty.

Canadian government spent tens of millions on secret Palantir contract

Records from the IJF’s Open By Default database reveal the government made over a dozen amendments to a contract with Palantir Canada to provide services to an elite unit of the military

@avilewis it isn’t just the contracts. Palantir’s Peter Thiel not only donated/bribed plenty to Trump but also donated their robot that Trump uses as VP.
@avilewis The same applies to the UK..This company should be a pariah
@avilewis please, please help rid us of this evil fascistic company.
@avilewis Why does Tragikarp look like the cliche mad scientist in every black and white horror flick?
@avilewis I think it's worth noting that Carney is invested in Palantir according to his summary statement at https://prciec-rpccie.parl.gc.ca/EN/PublicRegistries/Pages/Declaration.aspx?DeclarationID=cd9fa6cd-e00f-f011-8194-001dd8b72449

@avilewis Because Palantir markets a magic solution to a problem most elected politicians are only just beginning to acknowledge & know very little about: that of useful data being in silos, represented by ageing incompatible IT systems unable to "talk" to each other. Snake oil salesmen promise "we can fix that with AI" & the greenhorn politicos fall for it. In reality, what emerges is useless for most purposes: moderated by AI, it can never be considered reliable to an evidential standard.
@avilewis Karp is just another asshole in the long chain of assholes. I’d trust a derranged tiger before this arsehole
@avilewis Carney does not care about Canadian sovereignty - nothing in what he is actually doing demonstrates it. He wants to build a war economy in Canada and he needs companies like Palantir to do that. He lacks the imagination or intellectual breadth to envision a sustainable, wealthy, healthy nation that can draw on the ingenuity and skill of Canadians and instead is turning to the stale war mongering playbook of the US to build our economy. Carney is more of the same old Colonial mindset.
@avilewis I attended Microsoft Build '26 conference, and the Chainsmokers (the band) were special guests as tech/AI investors, during the keynote, and panels. Apparently they have their own fund. They were bragging about how their investment software / knowledge tools are all run by Palantir. So unbelievably out of touch. 🤦‍♂️
