#BTSFesta After work I had to set aside an hour to wait for a parcel delivery. Of course it arrived near the end of the hour slot! But that gave me time to skim re-read through the two books, and get to the end of 2014 #BTS technically 4 albums in 19 months.

Writing and recording all of Dark&Wild while doing everything else: promos etc for Skool Luv Affair, getting dissed, including making American Hustle Life, makes Arirang "band camp" look like a holiday!!

#BTSFesta (2) Again, so many thoughts! I guess all K-pop idols work hard, and in a way the bands I was seeing 10 years ago in uk worked hard, in a different way. I guess though it takes a special mindset to work, to stick at it, to overcome the pains, because you believe ultimately the end will be worthwhile - is that to showcase a talent, to do something for money, because you can't believe you can do anything else with life... To strive to succeed - then what?

#BTSFesta (3) In the early interviews Jin keeps talking about a house/ a farm/ in the woods. I'm thinking he really hated dorm living, and his goal was to keep going to get money for a better future!! But often it's just the desire to keep going because it's what you enjoy, however hard the process is.

The Korean process is so reversed to old school UK, where you'd go on tour hoping to get signed to make an album and get on TV!! And I think a lot of that is getting lost these days.

I also watched this ( again) last night

2014 MAMA battle with BlockB ( having read about the background story in the book) video tagged 2015.

I watched this early in my ARMY life, and was quite shocked by it all! I think as my daughter kept talking about them being from a small label, I wasn't aware of all the Korean TV stuff that goes on.

I woke up before my alarm, so I lay half asleep listening to Arirang, and the next song Spotify put on was RUN and - still a great song, still a memorable video.
