@QasimRashid Iβm not sure how it was in the rest of the state but a lot of my friends and I in Charlottesville held our collective noses when we voted for Spanberger. I know that her press was painting her as some kind of blue savior but her record belied any hope that might be the case so none of this comes as much of a surprise.
Knowing what I know now, Iβd still vote for her again in a heartbeat because the alternative was having another Republican governor. I fervently hope though that the disappointment in her leadership coalesces around an actual progressive like Mamdani to run against her.
