@ricmac I'll be honest here, it's a shame that you feel the need to curate your socials this way and that loud anti AI voices have gotten to you.

Because if anything what we need more of are nuanced voices like you and me, who can see both sides and participate maybe even influence the polarising discourse.

lastly I follow you personally because that way I don't have to subscribe to x different accounts. Those posts are your voice and observations and I am interested in them.

@crisverstraeten I’m probably too sensitive about this, but I just don’t enjoy using social media when I am having to battle people in the comments or defend myself from attacks. I know a lot of people are into that kind of thing, but I would rather just leave a platform if that’s what it turns into. So I am hoping this is a good compromise. Thanks for your supportive note, though, I appreciate it.

@ricmac I wrote in the heat of the moment. What matters most to me is that you can continue your work in a way that it gives you calm and confidence to continue I guess. Happy Sunday!
