hello dear internet a new month is upon us and i have a special edition™ of asking for help with bills:

the car's inspection is this month and she needs work done. we can cover that (between mom's social security & my credit card), but it's gonna be pretty tight, and it would help a lot if my bills were covered

edit: OUGH that was fast, thank you so much!! i'll leave this up for a lil bit - any extra goes towards chipping away at the car repairs bill

car details for the curious: the repair estimate for the car is currently approx $1200 (rear brakes, rear rotors, exhaust pipe, and catalytic converter). the cat was going to be way more expensive but we found an acceptable aftermarket one that's much cheaper, we just have to order it ourselves sometime next week and then we can get this work scheduled

mom and i can split the cost of this, but it's gonna mean 1. most of our non-food cash for the month is gonna be gone and 2. my credit card with spicy interest rates is gonna get real full. but we don't have a choice, without the car we are completely cooked. living rural is nice but we're ~10mi away from literally anything, so not having your own transport is incredibly debilitating. taking a big financial hit for a while is the obvious choice in comparison

also: still trying to figure caregiver stuff. didn't hear back from the place i reached out to so i gotta hunt for more (and gotta wait to monday to actually make any calls. oof)
