The Ghost Monk
#Hereford Cathedral is haunted by at least two Ghost Monks. One who mainly haunts the precincts is described as wearing a 'dirty white' robe (t'ch!), although a monk in a black habit has also been seen both outside and inside the cathedral. They're not just glimpsed, either... [1/2 #PhantomsFriday

The ghost in the black habit was once watched by two policemen at the same time from different positions. In the 1930s an organist reported frequent sightings, sometimes at close quarters. On one occasion multiple witnesses together saw one of the spectres illuminated by mysterious rays of light.
