Does somebody know a map where the cooler or more shaded roads are easily visible? I saw an OSM-based "vampire mode" for pedestrian route planning and a 3D-building shadow simulator but that's not quite what I'm looking for.

Of course, it depends on the time of the day but a simple 2D map with a combined coefficient of weighted vegetation/road width/surface maybe would be great during hot days!

@Ja_E_I_O_U My guess would be that it's not possible. Not without any standard source of data about vegetation, road, and buildings.
@Ja_E_I_O_U You can try https://shademap.app
Of course, it depends heavily on the quality of OpenStreetMap data in the area. Forests, trees, building heights, and so on need to be mapped for it to work properly.

@Ja_E_I_O_U there is https://trailrouter.com/ which prefers green, car-free routes though parks, forests and near waters.
