@kolya they were made for the 20-25 year old star wars fans in 1999 who are 50 now. it's always been for the same people.

I wouldn't let off George Lucas that easily. He had become old and rich and there was no one to stop him. He thought that Jar Jar shit was funny. And the dialogues between Padme and Anakin were romantic. This was his cringe fest. Not some anonymous studio exec's.
