It's been a while but the heatwave makes demands... Feet up, drinking Italian beer with a hint of sea salt, at the #boatyard
Can we have a bit of a nod towards a wildlife garden on the polluted brownfield that is a #boatyard

And the early morning view off the stern. Our breakfast spot.

@weta no leafy greens, no. But there's blackberries to be had later in the season.

Teasels and some very plucky, soon to be very unlucky, Herb Robert

Water point oasis

Teasels and ragwort. And work in progress, been chugging away.

So today by way of light relief from the interminable sanding it's death to the fuckugly jerry built gas locker which has been responsible for most of the outstanding leaks as well as spoiling the view from the stern deck. Lovely day for it!

Mista, Mista, there's an 'ole in yer boat! An' wots those white fluffy things up there in the sky?
#boatyard #elevenses
And breathes...

And the former lagoon for the tide mill as a reverse shot on the journey back home. Hard to make out as everything's been growing so vigorously but the riverside footpath curves away from bottom right.
#FootpathFriday
And continuing on the subject of tide mills - which perhaps one sunny #SolarpunkSunday will make their well-deserved comeback - here's House Mill at Three Mills in east London marking its 250th.

@rooftopjaxx Nice! I used to co-own a wooden sailboat with my ex. I swear we worked on it more than we actually sailed.
@DoomsdaysCW you did say wooden didn't you!
