Last night's #boardgames included Dead of Winter. It's a semi-co-op game of killing zombies and dwindling food supplies. Plus you each have a secret objective, and there may be a traitor among you. The theming was strong, and the game's owner did start with a warning that there would be some ethically-problematic decisions along the way. He was not wrong. Fine for us, but not for everyone. FWIW we had a traitor and they won. Too many characters got killed, and our morale dropped to zero.
@pigsaw This was our first "real" board game, the start in our than new hobby. Although we haven't played this for years now, it will never leave usThe last time, we played, we had a traitor, too. I warned the group, but it was already too late. He poisened our food supply against the crisis, than shot me with his sniper rifle. Moral was at zero. Timing was perfect. Extremely well played, I have to admid; will never forget that one and that smile on his face of cause. πŸ˜… A fun evening.
@jerk "I warned them but it was too late" is wonderful, like a line from a classic 1950s movie.
