Today, I was with my trad-leader friend at the Frohndellpfeiler in Palatinate. The crack was a "6", and it was amazing to see my friend lead this so effortlessly and securely. The route was a mix between actual hand- and fist-jamming crack-climbing and even a short shoulder crack portion, finished up by some slopey hell. I was able to top it! With only ~4 falls into the rope (3 times at the place of the video). I´m so DAMN proud!

And this was the one part where I fell a lot - It was really hard getting into the crack, and up the first two moves (with a hand-jam and a fist), then being able to lodge the left foot deep into the crack, and ... essentially half-shoulder-crack-half-chimney-on-a-budget up in there … cost some skin, but at my level was the only possibility to manage this part.
