Attempted to make Japanese pickled radish (takuan) tonight, and just realized that if your radish are bitter, your pickles will be bitter too. (need to harvest those radish before they go to seed, I suspect. On the plus side, we will have about 100,000 radishes volunteering themselves in a year 🤔) #fail #cooking
