It's a nice day. I have the windows open. So I get to mutter "oh my god shut THE FUCK up" as drivers lay on their horns and interrupt my train of thought.

When I was a kid, I (along with a neighbor kid) got in trouble for throwing snowballs at cars. I was 11yo or so.
For many years, I was like "Boy, the dumb shit I did when I was a kid, eh? Thank goodness I grew up."
Over the past ~15 years, that's changed to "Maybe if we threw more snowballs at cars, drivers would think twice about driving at unsafe speeds through residential neighborhoods."
@Andres4NY here it is muscle cars and motorbikes, specially the latter; see https://en.osm.town/@mdione/116638122797699014; whie I was writing this, I heard 4 motorbikes do 0-90km/h? in seconds and at most two gears, revving really high.
It's 22h, my kids have to have their window closed, and a fan running, because of the noise, so they can fall asleep, instead of getting cool, fresh air.
I fantasize with throwing water at them, but then I would need a place to hide before they come for my skull.
02h41. The day was hot, reaching 31C. Its down to 21C, but the houses are still warm and there is not even a breeze. A motorbike woke me up 40m ago. Since then, I heard many just tearing up and down the avenues around here. Some just overrev their motors at red lights, to the point that they misfire, making more noise. Now a car joins the party. You either don't sleep because of the heat or because of the noise.
I used to have a sign up on my block saying "your honks are heard in hundreds of homes". A simple statement of fact meant to make people think before laying on their horns and not actually telling anyone to do anything.
It got vandalized so many times and when I saw someone had posted it on social media the responses were so angry
