The movies are bananas, but they didn’t mess up this show, which is surprising and good.
This cartoon and its predecessor uses the source material very loosely, but still it is very good. Combining story lines from mid-70s, all of 80s and until the mid-90s as that is when it was awesome, now it is some cheesy superhero soap opera.
Season 2 starts in July.
