@netopwibby I've been donating since I got to a point in life that I could afford to. I've even kept it up while I was unemployed. I hate this, but I don't have any other meaningful way to send even this tiny, tiny message.
@mhoye Yeah man, it’s tough. I've donated a few times over the years. It seems virtually impossible for anything that started with great intentions to stay that way. Hella demoralizing.
Great thing is that eventually something better comes along? But like, how long will the good vibes last there? The cycle continues.

🔥 Mireille Sillander 🔥@netopwibby @mhoye Imo, everything great has a maximum life span of one human lifetime before it has to change, for better or worse. Under capitalism, that seems to always be worse.
This is just based on how long the people who made a Great Thing can steer it and keep it to their original vision. Once they step down, it's inevitable that the Great Thing will change somewhat, if it hasn't come to that before that
