#LawnPoetry update: after considering many great ideas about materials, I'm using 2" white faux wood slats because a kind stranger from craigslist offered to drop off his old window blinds for free.

In honor of Dracula Day I am drip-drying the slats in a tote bag from the Merrill Collection. The print rubbed off almost immediately but the spiritual impression was so strong that I have kept the tote since 2017 🤷

I did one internet search about how to write on wood or faux wood and landed in the direct center of the live-laugh-love sign-making community. Bless them, they do have calligraphy skills. Anyway i ordered a paint pen

@SRLevine Ha ha I have a giant spreadsheet of them! Latest addition was "twisted", suggested by a 7 year old because "I would write a poem about a twisted old tree on a gloomy night"
