#tfw it's after Memorial Day and 80° outside and you suddenly realize you haven't taken the snow tires off the minivan yet.
I guess I know what I'm spending the next hour and a half doing!
After years of practice I really can do it in an hour and a half:
Put tires on rims from under porch into minivan.
Put jack and big socket wrench from basement into minivan.
Drive to parking lot.
Get tire iron out of spare.
Loosen all lugnuts.
For each tire: position jack, jack up, remove lugnuts, remove old tire, put on new tire, put on lugnuts, lower jack.
Tighten all lugnuts.
Put away tire iron.
Put old tires in minivan.
Drive home.
Put tires under porch.
Put jack and wrench away.
Only problem I had this time around is I banged my hand pretty hard when removing one of the tires from under the porch and gave myself a good bruise on my ring finger which I'm pretty sure is going to swell. For the time being I've taken off my wedding ring and put it on my dog tag chain, because if my finger swells too much with the ring on it, it could cut off circulation and they'd have to cut off the ring.
