@GM7077 Well, there is a lot of crap going on here ... but I guess attempted murder is something I saw on TV, not a legal definition

"In Missouri, shooting someone is charged as Assault, as the state does not have a separate "attempted murder" statute. Instead, the legal equivalent of attempted murder is Assault in the First Degree."
