Regrettably, I don't think the executives who reorganized their entire companies around wildly oversubsidized code generators at the expense of things like "understanding our own systems" "meeting customer's needs" are going to be the people who end up struggling financially because of their catastrophically shortsighted incompetence.
@mhoye The fact that Zuckerberg still has a job after the metaverse seems to indicate that being fired for incompetence is no longer a thing in big tech.
@evenreven Zuckerberg can't be fired. He's the majority shareholder and chooses the board of directors.
@mhoye @evenreven I can think of several founders or descendants that didn't get to the find out portion of FAFO because they controlled a majority of shares and the board.

@KatieLoves2Read @mhoye @evenreven

A billionaire can never find out

Therefore

A billionaire must never fuck around

@evenreven @mhoye because Zuck rigged the stock so pretty much nobody has any stocks with voting rights to oust him, even if they want to.
@mhoye
Maybe the companies will, but the individuals will "pop their golden parachute" and walk away even more wealthy on the money they convinced working people (through investment portfolios) to invest. Almost none of them will face serious consequences IMHO.
