@maxleibman I'll just keep my 8 year old laptop and install Ubuntu on it. When it breaks I'm sure I can just get a second hand one and keep on working.

I have two old PCs in storage that I'd like to upgrade, and I'm hoping the bare minimum upgrade for them won't make me go bankrupt.
