Counting stars

Another starry night

The old friend darkness

Here with me in the dead of night

While I’m sitting outside in the garden

But you ain’t here

Can’t help but having this feeling

That you are out there somewhere

The other half of my heart

And probably out there under sun

Since I’m under the full moon

As I sit here looking at the moon

I swear I believe one day we will find our way

To each other

I’m not sure who you are

But I can feel this link to you

That two of us are meant to be

And meant to be together

And not world apart from each other

Because I never stop believing in love and destiny

I also believe our love story will be epic

So while you’re under golden sun

And I’m under silver moon

Counting stars all alone

I know my days counting stars alone

Won’t last long much longer hopefully

And sooner than I know

The story of us that is written into these stars

Will bring us together

The fate will not let us down
