Mistborn: The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson: A ton of people had told me, over the years, that I would love these books. And sure enough, as soon as I finally started reading it, I was hooked. Sure, there are some predictable elements of the story and some familiar tropes, but they were utilized well. I was more surprised that the novel came to such a strong conclusion; I expect the plot to stretch over the whole trilogy. #Mistborn #Books
