@Raccoon The first Linux distro that I deliberately installed on a device was Linux Mint, and I used it for about a year. I didn't have any issues with it, but when I replaced the computer's original HDD with a SATA SSD and added more (OEM) RAM, I was advised by a friend to give Fedora KDE a try.
Fedora is definitely one of those rolling-release type distros, and I appreciate they have multiple official "spins" to give people their choice of desktop environment for it.
