Morning Mastodonians!

Back to the grind today after five days off, we didn’t do much besides work around the house. We did a lot of work the first two days outside, finishing some more landscaping. We then spent a couple of days cleaning up indoors. I got the pool in shape for the summer. Many plants were purchased and planted—still too much to do, of course.

The main thing outside of housework was reading. I finished three books – The Fall of Robespierre, A Short History of Nearly Everything, and The Guest Cat. They were all pretty good. And I made a lot of progress on other books, including the very popular Yesteryear and The Art Thief. I didn’t watch any movies, although my wife and I did watch the last week of Stephen Colbert. Wonder what he will do next? And I didn’t play any games besides Emberleaf on BGA.

But it is back to normal #Today. Everyone is off to work, and I finally get a quiet house. It’s funny how the Memorial Day break was surrounded by beautiful weather, while the actual break wasn't so great. Today is gorgeous, and I definitely will be taking the dogs for a walk. I will probably play Baldur’s Gate with Chris tonight. And it is, in fact, taco Tuesday here.
I have spent the morning being very busy in the #SaltMine. I am starting a new query and getting to play around with clang queries. I really need to finish up my tasks on my other project, though, as there are lots of little loose ends I need to tie up. Then I can move on to other things on that project. The powers that be put the clamp down on visual code extensions, which, given the recent security breaches involving those, isn’t too surprising.
