Meine Blu-ray Neuzugänge. Hab festgestellt, dass ich seit vier Monaten nichts gekauft habe.
Kann dann The Killer (1989) endlich mal nachholen.

In the Name of the Father (1993)

Superb film and a horrible injustice. Day-Lewis is excellent as always, but I thought Posthelwaite as his father almost stole the show.

4/5⭐️

Children of Heaven (1997)

The 4th Iranian film that I have watched.
It’s pretty okay. A bit melodramatic but still well done.

3/5⭐️

Barry Lyndon (1975)

Overrated imo. Barry is an incredibly dull protagonist despite the film presenting him as a charismatic manipulator. Most side characters feel underwritten and exist only to serve Barry’s story. Visually great, but emotionally empty for me.

2.5/5⭐️

I Swear (2025)

Very good biographical film telling John Davidson's struggles and desire to educate us, the uneducated, about Tourette Syndrome with some good and humorous scenes.

Spider-Noir (2026)

A pleasant surprise of a show. It nails the feel of early 1900s New York, mixes humor, action, body horror, and follows a retired Spider-Man rebuilding himself. Andrew Lewis Caldwell steals scenes as Megawatt, while Nicolas Cage is peak Nicolas Cage.

4/5⭐️

The Best of Youth (2003)

Finished it in 3 sittings - it's good.
I can relate so much with Matteo's character. Idealistic and have an interest in other people/humanity (like when he rescues Giorgia), but very shy and he's not good on expressing his feelings with people.

3.5/5⭐️

#ScaryMovie  (2026)

The Naked Gun (2025) restored my faith in spoof movies.
Scary Movie (2026) reminded me why i lost the faith in the first place.
