They are currently going through the agenda (comprising the business Council's various committees have covered in the past month, plus some extras) and marking items they want to debate rather than adopt automatically.
"Can you please shorten that?" Speaker Nunziata asks as Cllr Moise reads out a lengthy petition in support of pedestrianizing Church Street. He protests that it is important and insists on reading the whole thing.
Mysteries: why did Cllr Perks (Parkdale–High Park) hold these two items (2026.SC31.1, 2026.SC31.2) regarding developments in Scarborough?

An interesting item on centralizing the affordable housing waitlists & draw system. A well-intentioned but doomed item to ask the Province to let homeless people save money for housing. (See this Maytree report on how the whole system's fucked, pretty much by design.)
