Broken before giving  

Your promise was never meant to last

Because it was broken

Before you even said the words

You had already broken that promise

Before giving it

Yet you act like

You were promising something

So big and important

While it was already broken

And you had no intention to even try to keep it

It was all for show

Like always

I have learned now

How everything you do is for show

To play this fake persona

You try so desperately sell

Play pretend

Fake it until you make it

But you never made it

Just keep faking it all the time

Giving these fake promises

 That sounds great

But you have broken before words even leave your lying lips

But you see nothing wrong with that

Because only you matter no one else

So breaking promises is no big deal

Lying to everyone’s face

It is just another normal day to you

This is how you choose to live your life

Build it on endless lies
