Starbase Jeff

OK... I've heard overwhelmingly GOOD things about this game, but I'm also very wary of games that rely that heavily on dice rolling. They are also calling this better than El Grande.

What is your take on Rumble Nation?

@jeffowski Really, it’s filler El Grande. Not sure one is “better”, since I’m not going to be reaching for them at the same time. The game has an element of luck, but it’s not long enough (15-20 mins?) for that to be an issue, imo.

@jeffowski It's a fun little filler. Following the cascade at the end is interesting. The cubes kicked out of one are go the next area in the sequence, causing a possible shift in control of that area. It's a good game but not something I'm going to rant over.

Kinda feeling the same about this game.

Dice too...
Everything relies on you getting the right dice, so much that the game allows you to re-roll _ALL_ the dice. Sort of tells me how important that really is.
