@nixCraft Isn’t this the thing that requires an app on Apple’s App Store or Google Play, and only useful for sending money to other people (which doesn’t usually use credit cards and is already doable with SEPA)?

@BetaRays @nixCraft Yeah I don't get it... Just use SEPA, the instant payment option is free now. The only selling point might be that you don't need the IBAN and can hide your own perhaps?

"Sovereign" payments systems that make you dependent on an Apple or Android device.

Which in my book is NOT a sovereign payment system.

It is merely shifting the dependencies from US finance companies to US tech companies.

You can make payments using SEPA from a European developed web browser running on a Linux distro developed in the EU.
