Finding your pick among the traditional #Cartier Tank has always been tricky. The Must with vermeil cases (silver coated with gold) are tempting thanks to their lower prices and their design sometimes featuring striking red dial or trinity (3-tones gold) dial. But the plating wearing out is definitely a long-term issue to consider. The steel one mitigates that. The solid gold Tank Louis solves that at obviously a much bigger budget. #watches #watchesofmastodon

There is no “bad” choice by the way. It is all about aesthetics, budget, fit and what you prioritize. Personally the appeal of the #Cartier Tank Louis is hard to beat. But I understand that not everyone is willing to go solid gold which brings mostly wrist presence and long-term integrity for almost no visual improvement. If you want maximum visual flair for the money, there are many trinity variants. My favorite is probably the tri-tones markers configuration. #watches #watchesofmastodon
