Over 75% of the world’s food crops need pollinators.

Yet, bee populations have dropped globally over recent decades due to:

🔸 habitat loss
🔸 climate change
🔸 excessive use of pesticides

Our fertiliser plan promotes healthier ecosystems, which are essential for bees’ survival.

On this #WorldBeeDay, we urge governments, organisations and citizens to help save these precious creatures.

We need to keep our bees busy and well!

@EUCommission

Another great #succesful post in that #flea #circus that is the #EU and the community manager of this account acting as a track manager.

Does the community manager ever heard about the Bayer - Monsanto rigged buying to past approval of the carcinogenic #RoundUp.

Yeah! Your fleas became giants again. 😒

@DBG3D @EUCommission

it's just a joke, relax

always endless, pointless bile under EUCommission's posts

there needs to be a psychological study about it

do you think shouting at this account achieves anything?

it's utterly ineffective. shouting reply guy bile at this account is worthless

and i'm not talking about you specifically, just scroll the entire reply thread, or any reply thread where EUCommission posts

it would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic

There are many things going on, including miserable people and trolls, but I think a lot of people also struggle to understand the nature of the Commission.

On the one hand it's a huge and talented bureaucracy working for the benefit of the people of Europe, on the other hand it's a small diverse group of high ranking appointed politicians, some of whom are incredibly incompetent.

Whoever thinks @EUCommission is a unitary actor will of course think it's wildly hypocritical.

"Whoever thinks EUCommission is a unitary actor will of course think it's wildly hypocritical."

right, exactly

and since we know it isn't, any deranged criticism predicated on acting as if the person behind this account stands in for whatever some EU politician says or does, and therefore must be put on putrid bile blast every time they post something cheerful... it's just a study in how much we all despise toxic assholes

Yeah, for sure. But the bureaucrats are also forced to act as though the Commission is a unitary actor even though it isn't, so there is some degree of hypocracy built in to the system. It's arguably for good reason, but nevertheless—I can see why people get confused and frustrated.

Doesn't make it any less insufferable. Thanks for bothering to counter some of it.
